America the Beautiful Quarters capture the breathtaking beauty of America’s natural landscapes that have inspired countless poets, adventurers, and artists. The U.S. is honoring our Nation's national parks and sites on quarters featuring five new designs each year.
Released in 2017, the Ozark National Scenic Riverways Quarter features two spring fed rivers that flow through the area and the intricate bio-systems found in the state of Missouri. Also featured here is the Old Red Mill, built in 1894, which allows visitors to learn about some of the early European settlers that came to this area.
