America the Beautiful Quarters capture the breathtaking beauty of America’s natural landscapes that have inspired countless poets, adventurers, and artists. The U.S. is honoring our Nation's national parks and sites on quarters featuring five new designs each year.
The Voyageurs National Park Quarter was released in 2018 and it depicts the scenery within 84,000 acres of water in the state of Minnesota. The park features miles of undeveloped shoreline, with hundreds of islands and numerous lakes. The combination of rocky shorelines, hardwood forests and open water creates an ideal home for bald eagles, black bears, wolves and moose.
