1958 / Roosevelt Dime Silver
$4.00
Details
To celebrate the contributions of our 32nd President, Franklin D. Roosevelt, the United States Mint issued a dime with his portrait in 1946 and replaced the "Mercury" dime. The entire process was rushed considerably so that the first release of the newly designed coins would coincide with the “March of Dimes,” a charity that had been publicly supported by Roosevelt. The reverse design features a torch surrounded by an Olive branch and an Oak branch along with the motto E PLURIBUS UNUM.
This 1958 Roosevelt Dime is made of 90% silver and is in good condition - perfect as a keepsake for a 60th birthday. It comes encased in an air-tight capsule to protect the coin's integrity. Purchase this coin separately or add this 1958 Roosevelt Dime to one of our CoinArt selections. PLEASE NOTE: If purchasing separately, please let us know in the Special Instructions if you don't wish us to insert coin in capsule. Similar to coin shown.
