America the Beautiful Quarters capture the breathtaking beauty of America’s natural landscapes that have inspired countless poets, adventurers, and artists. The U.S. is honoring our Nation's national parks and sites on quarters featuring five new designs each year.

The Cumberland Island National Seashore Quarter was released in 2018 and it depicts the primitive, undeveloped character of one of the largest barrier islands on the Atlantic coast (state of Georgia). The park features 18 miles of pristine beaches and one of the largest oak maritime forests remaining in the U.S.
