This stunning 2018 Pictured National Lakeshore Silver Reverse Proof Quarter was created to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the San Francisco Mint producing proof coinage. What makes this quarter unique is the beautiful reverse proof finish, resulting in a magnificent effect where the revere proof coin's shiny design elements and frosted backgrounds makes a stunning contrast (photos above do not do this coin justice!). With a limited mintage of 200,000, it will be a true collector's item for years to come.
The Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore Quarter depicts the beautiful shoreline of Lake Superior in the state of Michigan. The shoreline consists of 200-foot colorful sandstone cliffs, numerous beaches, and 300-foot sand dunes. Similar to coin shown.
