This stunning 2018 Voyageurs National Park Silver Reverse Proof Quarter was created to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the San Francisco Mint producing proof coinage. What makes this quarter unique is the beautiful reverse proof finish, resulting in a magnificent effect where the revere proof coin's shiny design elements and frosted backgrounds makes a stunning contrast (photos above do not do this coin justice!). With a limited mintage of 200,000, it will be a true collector's item for years to come.
The Voyageurs National Park Quarter depicts the scenery within 84,000 acres of water in the state of Minnesota. The park features miles of undeveloped shoreline, with hundreds of islands and numerous lakes. The combination of rocky shorelines, hardwood forests and open water creates an ideal home for bald eagles, black bears, wolves and moose. Similar to coin shown.
