This stunning 2018 Cumberland Island National Seashore Silver Reverse Proof Quarter was created to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the San Francisco Mint producing proof coinage. What makes this quarter unique is the beautiful reverse proof finish, resulting in a magnificent effect where the revere proof coin's shiny design elements and frosted backgrounds makes a stunning contrast (photos above do not do this coin justice!). With a limited mintage of 200,000, it will be a true collector's item for years to come. 

The Cumberland Island National Seashore Quarter depicts the primitive, undeveloped character of one of the largest barrier islands on the Atlantic coast (state of Georgia). The park features 18 miles of pristine beaches and one of the largest oak maritime forests remaining in the U.S. Similar to coin shown.
